Margaret E Ward
Margaret is an entrepreneur, an award-winning business journalist and a brand strategist. As CEO of brand communications consultancy Clear Ink, she helps her clients understand their brand and how best to communicate their messages to different audiences. She is also a highly regarded international conference host and speaker and mentors C-suite executives in public speaking skills through her second company, Broadly Speaking. Her clients include: Accenture, Google, Twitter, KPMG, the European Central Bank, Kellogg, Oracle, Danske Bank and many more.
Before founding Clear Ink, she worked as a business and investigative journalist for The Sunday Times and The Irish Times, was a business presenter on Newstalk radio and a contributor to RTÉ, BBC and National Public Radio (USA).
Margaret has been a brand strategist for more than ten years and is a certified LEGO® Serious Play facilitator. She travels widely to coach multinational and government clients. In 2016, she was asked to join the prestigious Executive Coaching panel in Google. She currently serves of the boards of RTÉ, Ireland’s national public service media organisation, and European Movement Ireland. In 2010, she founded Women on Air, a not-for-profit organisation that helps increase the representation of female experts on radio and TV through mentoring, networking, lobbying, academic research, events and conferences.
